AlignmentStationOffset(Double, Double, Double, Double, Double) Method

Returns the nearest station and offset on an Alignment at given easting, northing and tolerance values.

easting Double: Specifies the Easting value.
northing Double: Specifies the Northing value.
tolerance Double: Specifies the tolerance value. This value is in the same coordinate units as the Easting and Northing values, and specifies a range within which the method looks for a point on the Alignment.
station Double: Returns the station value.
offset Double: Returns the offset value.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
PointNotOnEntityException	Thrown when the easting and northing value are out of Alignment range.

Remarks

This method returns an error code if the station and offset are out of range using the tolerance given.
